  1. this week has been crazy! Dance started back up, and school as well! I have to say that it has been hard keeping up with my devos! (its not always easy to get out of bed early enough!) Plus there is so much going on in my head right now, trying to figure things out that it is hard to stay focused!
So, This will probably sound crazy, but I can't get it out of my head (don't you hate that :P ) So I am just going to lay it out here!
Ok, I don't know if this will ever happen, But like I said I can't help but thinking about it.
As of right now, I want to find a way to work in the projects of dallas (or any other city for that matter) I don't know what would happen, or what i would be doing, But its driving me nuts to know that I have something that I am not giving. I have grown up in the church, I have always had everything that I needed, and pretty much wanted for that matter. I have never had anything go terribly wrong in my life... All this to say that I am wonderfully blessed. But, people are hurting, people we see in the store, or walking down the street! They are hurting, and broken and they don't have the Love of Christ in there lives. I want to do something... I don't want to waist what God has given me!!!! Even though the people we see every day are very important, there is something about the broken homes, and gangsters, and addicts, and inner city troubles that breaks my heart, and draws me to it!
I keeping having thought like "I am 16 years old, I am a girl, and I have no idea what hey go through, what am I doing even thinking about this" So At times it is discouraging, but it keeps coming up. I just have to remember that God made me the way he wanted me, and he will use me the way he wants to if only I am willing!!!!! I want to be, but its so hard!!!!
    Ok. so yeah, petty crazy!

  3. This week has been pretty much amazing((((: especially with dance starting back up((((:

Well i have been looking further into the wiccan religion and the little book thing that James gave me has been a big help(:

I was reading about some of the stuff in their religion(or cult) and i compared it with Christianity and nothing from the wiccan belief can compare to our God((: This was encouraging because in Christianity we know that we have an eternal home waiting for us, and that we know we have a compassionate and loving God. In a wicca's religion they don't have a true god, some don't even believe in 1 god, but many. Also they believe they are going to be reincarnated into something else. It was encouraging to know that we do have a Father in Heaven who is gracious and compassionate(((:

Also i have been reading 1 Samuel and i really liked the fact that even when we don't always know when God is talking to us and we ignore him, just like samuel had, God will never stop trying to get us to listen to him(((: and when we do hear him we can't just ignore him we must tell him 'Lord im hear, use me im your servant, and im listening'(((:

  4. thanks for putting that up Kierian, It is always helpful to be reminded that "There is not a religion or a god that can campare to our RELATIONSHIP, or our GOD!!!!!!!!
Ha... one of the best parts about it is that our God defeated death and is living today!!!!

  5. I agree it is very awesome to know that our God is LIVING!!!! and he is with us always(((:

  6. Ki-Ki & Lori,

I totally agree with a full heart! Full b/c I know beyond any circumstance, Christ loves us with a righteous love.

No other God compares to our God, Ki-Ki, you sound like my man David in the Psalms! am soooooooo glad it helped and look b/c you read it and 1 Samuel and shared it, it has encouraged others!

Now if we can get others to share and blog imagine how awesome it would be, sharing, encouraging, enlightening, etc!

    James, Keep it up!

  9. I'm definitely excited about serving widows, or other people in need. It's about time for our small group to get outside our houses and our comfort zones to go spread Christ's love.

  10. I agree!!!! But I would say, not just or 20/20 groups (though that is a good place to start) But the whole church in general!!!!!!

  12. I totally agree! yeah I started a devotional that I've been putting off for about 3 months, haha the past three days have been great! just got to remember to do it when I don't feel like it! I found a verse that was very encouraging this week:

18 “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
    John 15; 18-19

it good to know that Jesus went down the road before us, and is offering His never-ending Love/help. and that we are truly NOTW

My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge.
my shield and the horn of my salvation.

  16. John 17:12, Jesus speaking:

"While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled."

In this passage, who is the son of perdition? Judas Iscariot?

  17. You have got it, Great job Abby!

This was foseen by God of course, as we see Christ point to his destiny, also in OT; Ps 41:9, 109:8 and others.

  18. I have been reading about joseph, and all the stuff that he went through. I have heard this story so many time but every time I get to the part where the cupbearer forgets joseph it makes me sad. He went through so much and helped so much just to be forgotten. This would be pretty depressing if we didn't know the rest of the story. Even though he is forgotten by people he is never Forgotten by God!
I found this encouraging this morning, because no matter how bad suffering may get, or how long it may last, or when we feel forgotten we can still praise God and serve Him like joseph did, and in the end He wins! God will never forget us!

This is also a great example of how God works through things that seem terrible to us for Good!

  19. How true! Joseph is the man, from the start he was left for dead and through it all able to stay faithful! Still had struggles with his faith but is a shinning example of knowing the gain outweighed the pain!

    keep up the God work!
