Is your Center Blazing # 10

Hey my H-Beatians & friends!

So, I know we ended up playing stone the pharisee/protect the prophet or whatever we ended up calling it!

But the musical worship was great and we just touched on

True Love: Duty or Delight Part #2!

We learned from 2 Corinthians 9:7-8 that Giving is loving IF you are Cheerful!!!

What are your thoughts? Can you see this in your own life to be true?
Can giving extend beyond money? What else does God call us to give & give cheerfully?

We also learned that behavior isn't the 1st level of warfare in the Spiritual battle that we are in!

BUT...

It begins within your own heart! What do you think? Can you see this in your life or others?

Look at: Acts 20:33-35, "I coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel. You yourselves know that these hands ministered to my necessities and those who were with me. In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive."

For next time and ask, "In helping the poor and weak why is it important to remember that it is more blessed to give than receive? and "What is the most important word in these verses?"

Blog onward souldier,

-James

  1. Everything begins with your heart.

    And interesting and cool concept.

The LORD does not look at the things man looks at, men look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the HEART.

    fascinating. ;D

  3. Ok... so I finally get a chance to write this.. I wanted to before I left but didn't get a chance :(
I believe that whenever we give, even if we are not cheerful God will use it for good! But that is not the same as being loving!!!!

We are suppose to give everything cheerfully. All the was from money to our lives!

  4. alright, so senses there wasn't a weekly blog for this week, I decided just to share on this one.
So this weekend I was at dance Revolution... and Oh my gosh!!!!! was it crazy.... I can't even express to you how powerful it was (I wish you all could of been there, just to hear what the teachers were saying)
Almost every class the teachers talked about being bold! and stepping out of our comfy little boxes to the big world God has given us... They talked about breaking down the walls that people keep building in front of us...
Ryan (our hip hop teacher) talked about fighting, and that when we dance (in my case... yours is probably different) we are fighting demons, and they are fleeing.... when we walk into a room we change it... He talked about being bold! about not being comfortable with only not doing what we know is wrong, not to be ok sitting by while sin is happening all around us, But instead to be bold! and stand for what we know is truth, and to make a difference. As he said "Jesus didn't go to the cross so that we could fit in"
Sense I heard all of this I am responsible for what I do with it. I heard it, I need to act on it. Which is hard for me. But guess what?!??! If you just read this, then you also have a responsibility to do something with it... Just like we do with every single one of James's or ricks messages...
Just some thoughts, hope they are challenging :)
