T.B.Center Day # 4

Alright-Alright all you Peeps,

Hope you loved the last lesson and are looking forward to the next lesson (not this Wed. b/c of the SYATP Rally)

Why do you think Jesus is coming back? What will God's purpose be at the end of history, when Jesus returns?

  1. Ok, well, Jesus is coming back to rescue us! To draw us close to Him!!!!!!
    He is coming back to rid this world of evil. Evil is the absence of God, so he is coming to restore the relationship that he created originally!

  2. If you read further on into chapter 4 it talks about a beautiful purpose that God had in mind for us...He died for us to restore us so that we can live TOGETHER with him. He longs for community with us just as we long to be with him. When he comes back...without getting into too much Revelation stuff...we will no longer be tempted by evil and we will be in PERFECT communion. I don't think God's purpose changes though...I think it is still going to be His Glory.

  5. Jesus is coming back so that we can have eternal life, free from all sin!! And then we can live with him for forever! I can not wait for the day that Jesus comes back! You know how awesome that will be!!! I think of that song "days of Elijah" or whatever it is called, and it makes me long for that day!!
