Is God Vain?

My Head is about to explode!!!! (in a good way)



Tonight in our second lesson in The Blazing Center, We encountered a problem many people struggle with...


With a God that is all consumed with Himself and His glory, how can he be loving as well?

Solution: You tell me...


What did you think about: "Love is not making much of someone; love is doing whatever you have to do in order to enthrall someone with what will make them eternally satisfied"?


So, now that you have had time to think...What do you think...have you had any joyous moments in your life that had absolutely have nothing to do with you?


!!!Lazarus!!! What-Did Christ really wait for two days, Did he say because He loved them, therefore/so He let him die!

  1. Ok, so about God being consumed with him self, and demanding our praise, yeah, that is a very confusing thought. But, I was reading Johns letter to Mr. Prowse, and all of it was making some sense, but not total sense... then I got to the last part, and he said " the reason God seeks our praise is not because he won't be complete until he gets it. He is seeking our praise because we won't be happy until we give it. This is not arrogance. It is love."
    After I read that, I started to understand, that We as Gods creation want to see Gods glory, we want to see his beauty, so He gives it to us.

    I'm telling you, His sweet, sweet grace is unimagiable, Who are we to partake in His Love? Glory?

    Thanks for reading that letter, so true, it helped me as well.

    I encourage everyone else to hit that bad boy as well!

    We won't be happy until we give it...

    Does "God is most Glorified in me, when I am most satisfied in Him." Make a little more sense now?
